And I say this with as much love as possible becau And I say this with as much love as possible because it breaks my heart when parents come back saying they wish they would have made different screen time choices.I have worked with 1000s of teens for over a decade as a high school teacher. I’ve spoken to hundreds of parents battling unhealthy screen habits for their kids of all ages.As a teacher I had kids come to me begging me to tell their parents to take their phones away.I saw lunch rooms full of kids sitting there staring at their phones, not able to have a conversation with the person next to them.I had them storm the front of the classroom, shoving each other to be the first to grab their phones at the end of class.I’ve seen them legit walk into walls because they can’t put their phones down while walking through the halls.If your toddler is throwing tantrums about screen time just think about what they will be doing as teens…the habits you set now are what carry through their childhood, into their teen years and beyond.You have the responsibility to set healthy boundaries (not all screen time is created equal) and understand how screens impact YOUR kid (all kids are different).Comment RESET if you want a link to my 5-Step Screen Reset Mini-Course.
